IN MEMORIAM – TOM WYPISZYNSKI

Tom Wypiszynski was raised with the business in his blood. Founded in 1954 by his father-in-law, the original Tom, Tom W. took the company to new heights starting in 1986 when he joined the business. He later became the Owner and President in 2012.

Always known as everybody’s best friend, employees and customers alike agreed that he was a larger-than-life figure and was one of the easiest people to get along with. He worked hard at making everything fun by sharing his enthusiasm and joy wherever he went. Even as President, Tom was always counted on to lend a helping hand to get a project done and done well. Tom’s energy and passion for providing quality products to fit the needs of each individual customer was infections, creating the high standards that Tom’s is known for today.

As part of providing excellent service to customers every single time, Tom and his team believed that the Carrier brand was the best way to achieve that goal. It was said that Tom bled blue because he believed so strongly in the Carrier products. Tom was recognized and awarded the Carrier Presidents Award the very first year it was offered and made it his goal to win the award every single year after that. He made it a promise to be the only company to win the honor every year, and he made it come true.

Tom passed away peacefully in January of 2022, and was posthumously inducted into the Carrier Dealer Hall of Fame later that year for outstanding service and dedication to the Carrier name and the customers who trusted their products and the Tom’s team.

As Tom believed, and his team carries out every day: average happens by accident, excellence happens on purpose.

Owner & Secretary/Treasurer

One of the current owners of Tom’s Heating, Fred is officially the Secretary/Treasurer of the company. He feels the best parts of his job are his awesome partners and the people who are the heart and soul of the company. “It’s a great family to be a part of!” He is a lifelong resident of Chicago and is married to Faye. His hobbies revolve around vacations in Hayward, Wisconsin, golf and the Bears, Cubs, White Sox and Hawks. His goal is to continue to help this amazing company grow and prosper.

paul Paul Wypiszynski
Owner & VP/Service Manager

Paul is also a current owner and Vice President/Service Manager of the company. He’s filled many roles at Tom’s Heating since 1992. He really enjoys the versatility of being able to do anything that is needed by homeowners. He is known for being meticulous at work. Paul and his wife Becca live in Waukesha with daughter Addison. When not working, he enjoys fatherhood, fishing, hunting and anything outdoors. And if you’ve ever seen his office, it’s pretty clear that he bleeds green & gold. (Sorry, Fred!) He is looking forward to watching and helping his daughter as she grows.

Service Tech

Tim has been a Tom’s Heating technician since 1996. He enjoys the satisfaction of a repair done well. He lives with his dog in Colgate, where he also grew up. He goal is to eliminate debt and save more.

Dan Daniel (aka Dano)
Service Tech

Daniel has been a service tech for over 40 years. He enjoys meeting people and taking care of their heating and cooling needs, whatever the weather. He is best known at work for his dependability, honesty and for doing his job to the best of his ability. He lives in the Village of Richfield with his wife Carol. His interests include fishing and metal detecting.

Service Tech & Installer

Pete’s favorite part of the job is making customers happy. Known around the office for being reliable and versatile, he has been with Tom’s Heating since 2015. He enjoys carpentry, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He’s looking forward to “finally taking my wife on a honeymoon!”

matt Matthew
Service Technician/Installer

Matt joined Tom’s Heating for the personal and friendly atmosphere, and the leaders who want the best for employees and will help them get there. He’s known around the office for his positive attitude and loves seeing the faces of happy customers after a perfect installation. If he’s not at work, you can find Matt out at concerts or watching and playing sports. He hopes to improve his Spanish-speaking skills and visit Niagara Falls this year.

kyle Kyle
Service Technician/Installer

Kyle is a service technician/installer from Mukwonago who joined the Tom’s Heating team for its awesome employees and fun atmosphere. He enjoys being part of a team who gets things done, fixes systems correctly, and delivers outstanding work at every appointment. When he’s not working hard at Tom’s Heating, you can find Kyle off hunting and fishing which are his two biggest hobbies.

Melissa Melissa

Melissa has over 10 years of office administration experience and two years specific to HVAC. She knows that the office team is the first point of contact with the customers and it’s important to build a positive relationship. Melissa loves that Tom’s Heating treats everyone like family and provides opportunities for growth. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, golfing, and hanging out with her family.

Liza Liza

Liza has been with Tom’s Heating for just under a year on the office team but has a lot of administrative assistant experience. She loves the camaraderie around the office, and the ability to learn new skills with her dedicated and hard-working spirit. In her free time, Liza hangs out with her kids and loves when they can get together to play cards and dice.

Dan Dan

Dan is newer to Tom’s Heating but brings extensive experience in business across a variety of technology platforms. He is a quick learner and loves working with a great team. Dan is an avid golfer and loves traveling.

Jordan Jordan

Jordan has three years of industry experience and loves seeing a project from start to finish. He wants every installation to look as good as possible while maintaining the functionality of equipment and that can sometimes prove to be a challenge-one he is up for. Jordan is known to have some issues staying on his feet on slick, icy ground, but is a good spirit about it with the team. In his free time, he enjoys playing rugby and video games.

Justin Justin

Justin has been a service tech with Tom’s Heating for over two years. He enjoys helping people stay comfortable and keep their equipment running. He takes a lot of pride in doing the job right from the start and thinks of every customer as family. Tom’s Heating is a good fit for Justin as the company goes the extra mile to build relationships with the customers they serve. In between work and family life, he enjoys being in a boat casting a line out for walleyes.

Enrique Enrique

Enrique learns new things daily as an HVAC tech for Tom’s Heating. He enjoys the patience and quality standards that the company sets forth. One of his favorite job projects is when a home switches from oil to gas furnace--it’s a challenge that he enjoys. When not at work, he likes to workout and go to events with his girlfriend.

Wyatt Wyatt

Wyatt is a service technician for Tom’s Heating and loves to help people maintain their comfort level in both summer and winter. His coworkers have been amazing at teaching him new skills that he can use to further his growth with the company. In his free time, he likes to hunt and learn even more about his job.
