The Family Business Waukesha Continues to Turn to Year After Year

In December 2012, Tom and his wife Signy retired, selling the business to its three owners: Tom Wypiszynski (son-in-law), Paul (Tom W’s son), and Fred Kaleel (Tom W’s brother-in-law). If you find it challenging to follow the path of this family tree, the important takeaway is that Tom’s Heating has been family-owned and -operated for three generations and continues to grow and flourish as the expert in home comfort.

Longtime Tom’s Heating installers, service technicians, office staff, and dispatchers—also part of the family—stay with us because they like our customers and they like working here. The family’s continued commitment to the community is represented by our day-to-day motto: Average happens by accident. Excellence happens on purpose.

We’re known for being the area’s “honest company,” where customers understand that we do what we’re supposed to do in a straightforward, ethical way. For example, we don’t recommend products or procedures if they’re not needed. In fact, we do our best to repair heating and cooling equipment until it’s no longer practical.

We also offer free estimates on new equipment and provide second opinions to callers who frequently end up staying with our business.

Many heating and cooling problems are simple and can be resolved by home or business owners. Call our knowledgeable staff, and we will share free advice over the phone. In addition, our office staff often refers customers to our website checklist so they can troubleshoot and potentially skip a trip charge for these easy issues.

Our technicians use factory-authorized replacement parts because they are trustworthy and reliable. We put in extra effort and attention to detail to please our customers—right down to taking our shoes off before entering their homes, laying tarps, and cleaning up after every job. We provide 24/7 service if customers face a furnace or air conditioning emergency. Our staff does everything we can to keep Waukesha families comfortable and happy through sizzling summers and frosty Wisconsin winters. And we know customers appreciate our efforts—and we appreciate their enthusiastic testimonials.
